Sivan’s fluffiest Challah
by Adrienne Langman

Ingredients

4 cups all purpose flour

1/3 cup cornstarch

1 heaping tbsp yeast

1 heaping tbsp salt

1/2 cup sugar

3 tbsp grapeseed oil

1 egg

1.5 cups luke warm water

Method

Put all the ingredients in a mixing bowl making sure that the yeast and the salt are on opposite sides.

Add the water slowly while mixing the ingredients together in the mix master. Don’t be tempted to add more water or flour trust me you don’t need to.

Knead the mixture for 12 min.

Glaze a little oil over the top of the dough and allow to rise in a warm place.

Your dough will double in size. Punch down gently and separate in pieces allow to rise again.

Make your challa and allow to rise again.

Glaze with beaten egg and sprinkle your favourite topping on your challa. I use sunflower seeds, poppy seeds , pumpkin seeds I even add cinnamon and sugar if I make a sweet challah.

Bake at 180 degrees until golden brown allow to cool and enjoy.
