Leek and spring onion quiche

Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry Sheet
  • 200gr double cream
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 spring onions
  • 3 leeks
  • 25g butter
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees C
  2. Chop the spring onions and leeks and browned them in a pan with the butter
  3. In a large bowl: Combine Eggs & Cream – Beat together, then whisk in the add-in salt, pepper and nutmeg – add the spring onions and leeks
  4. Unroll pie crust and press into a pie plate, crimping the top edges
  5. Pour filling into pastry and bake until just about set, at least 25-30 minutes
